Another gem from Jose "Don Pepin" Garcia.
Handmade in Pepin Garcia’s Nicaraguan factory, the 601 Serie Red employs a Nicaraguan Habano, a silky wrapper that reminds me of Cuba’s Ramon Allones Specially Selected (right down to the fur and smell). Within, lies a full-bodied blend of aged Nicaraguan long-fillers. Earthy in flavor with a sweetness that lingers on the back of the palate after each velvety puff. It's got some power, but the smoothness and balance help to mask its strength. Extremely well-made, you are in for a treat with the 601 Serie Red.
