Felipe Gregorio Millennium Icon

One of the prettiest cigars these eyes have seen!

Felipe Icon is a scrumptious handmade coated with a dark and oily wrapper that looks like a caramel-nougaty candy bar. I love saying nougat. Anyway this leaf is a triple-fermented Costa Rican wrapper from the top priming, grown from ‘ancestral’ Vuelta Abajo seeds. Ultra-flavorful and loaded with natural oils that are buttery-smooth and rich throughout the burn. Filler blend consists of a bold blend of Cuban-seed tobaccos from the black soils of Condega, Nicaragua and Dominican-grown Piloto Cubano from 2002. These aged long-fillers nicely complement the beautiful wrapper, creating a complex core of rich, mocha-like flavors with notes of coffee and leather, finished by a touch of pepper. Dee-lish.

Packed in handsome 20-count cedar boxes and colorful bands adorned with the industry’s most celebrated cigar icons - hence the name - including Winston Churchill, Albert Einstein and Mark Twain, among others (unfortunately Castro’s likeness also appears on the band, but it’s easy to ignore).

The Einstein size is a unique vitola - a beautiful perfecto shape finished in a lovely, two-wrapper format, and topped with a shaggy, 'rastafarian' cap. A work of cigar art!
